600 horse cts-v in 2009? holy shite!!

on the heels of the Z07 the fuckin 2009 cts-v is gonna have a blown 600 horse motor. Holy fuck that caddy is gonna move!!!!

I dont know if you guys have seen it, i know tonight was the first time i had so i had to pass it along!

One thing i found odd about the article was they said the LS7 didnt have enough low end grunt for the caddy??? just seems odd to me. The ls7 should have more then enough... If the ls7 isnt enough, im liking the engineers GM is hiring THe more the better!!

Sweeeet....and that 600hp can be 700hp pretty easy since it's the same motor/blower as the Z07 It's gonna suck if the new maro only has 400 ponies at launch..

I would think the Z28 camaro should have the ls3 atleast, possibly bumped to 450hp from the 430 by 2009. Now the ss model, or god help us, a ZL1 variant and who knows what gm could do with this car. I mean the gt500 has 500 horse now.... is gm gonna go to bat below a mustang with the SS camaro? I doubt it! Could you imagine this 600 horsepower engine under the hood!? A pulley swap and exhaust your looking at 700 ponys, maybe to the wheels with a tune!!!? IMAGINE... The modding potential of this CTS and hopefully a supercharged camaro is just going to blow everything away, including rice boys hero, the supra.

It would also be nice to see the V6 camaro with the new direct injection engine powering the STS caddy. Its 300 horsepower and moves the heavy STS to 0-60 in mid 6's, and thats a heavy car. In the lighter camaro it would be potent!! Also it would surely help the base model sell which is where gm is gonna make their gravy, with the v6's...
