50 wins 44 by KO.....I'd say there's at least 44 people that would disagree. I'm not saying he should be at the top of the list but he should definitely be above holyfield. Holyfield fought tyson near the end of tyson's career. Had those fights happened a few years earlier holyfield wouldn't have seen round 2.

Holyfield was winding down his career also and I believe older than Tyson. I think Tyson could have had a better ending if he wasn't so self destructive. I don't believe Holyfield ever lost to a Buster Douglas type either.

    he lost to a couple
Three successive defeats, to Chris Byrd, James Toney and Larry Donald from 2002-04, led to calls for his retirement

Reason Tyson is not higher is he bit Holyfield, was self-destructive, and had the stint in prision. IMO - if those things did not happen, Tyson would be in to top 10, You have to remember, he was the youngest person to ever hold a Boxing Title at age 20.

He was hype towards the end. In his prime, he destroyed anyone in his path.

was tyson self destructive, yes of course. but if your going to make a list of the top boxers, then it should be for boxing, and tyson should be at least in the top 10. When you start adding personal problems to stuff like that, then lists of all kind will be screwed up, and poeople who had personal problems (magic getting aids, Wilt being a complete womanizer) then some of the top lists will be having lots of changes to them. i just dont think its fair to base how good you are in your sport by her personal problems

How in the Holy land of FUCK is Rocky Marciano not first?? I guess having that kind of knockout to win ratio and being the ONLY undefeated champion in history isn't worth much. Fuck the bitches that made this list up.

    14. Rocky Marciano

Heavyweight Ring career: 1947-56 Record: 49-0 (43 KOs) Career notes: Only undefeated heavyweight world champion in history and one of the most popular and iconic American athletes of all time. … Renowned for ferocious punch and tremendous heart. … Won heavyweight championship with 13th-round knockout of Jersey Joe Walcott in September 1952. … Made six defenses before retiring in 1956.
