    450 hp?

K so me and my dad are arguing about my car he is into his old school stuff has a 82 vette with 383 stroker.

is it possible to get 400-450 hp out of my car with out crank, rods, pistons,
stock heads but with better springs and push rods intake manifold and the rest bolt ons?

Let me know what you think

400-450rwhp or crank hp? If its at the crank then ya thats pretty easy, just can do full boltons and a good tune and you'll be over 400 at the crank. If its rwhp then he would need h/c/i and tuned to get that.

without upgrading the internals such rods pistons and crank, its not that hard. Cam only its possible to crack 400rwhp with the right supporting bolt ons and a real nice tune. Add heads to the mix and youll be over 400 almost for sure. the internals you listed do not have to be touched.. and are good for even more power.

With no real numbers or actually 1/4 times makes this a hard one to call. Im sure from a dig, unless he has slicks, he will have a real hard time getting that power to the ground.
