4 cam?
is there any advantage to the cobra's engine?
i keep hearing people bash these cars in the kill section.
96-98 cobras are cheap these days. personally i think they are cool.

yes, there is an advantage in that the intake and exhaust runners dont have to snake around pushrods, and they can potentially rev higher because of less valvetrain mass.
the NA cobra motors are limited in their displacement. their low compression ratios make them like FI.

Yeah the 4 cam engines heads breathe pretty well and as stated they respond real well to forced induction. the thing that sucks about them is the lack of displacement. The 96 and 98 cobras get bashed a lot now because they are outdated and only 305 horses stock so they get beat fairly easy, but modified they move nice.

I like 4v mod motors, I've seen some NA ones get down allright. people tend to not pay them much attention due to the 03+ cobra.
