350z vs c5?

My 19yo friend just took out a $30,000 loan on a 2006 grand touring(It is the top of the line model) 350z. Im not the racing type, but living a small town, all the guys like to talk about the two cars. I really could care less if his car is faster, but every number I look at-Weight, Horsepower, Torque, 0-60, and quarter are all better. I didn't look at the handling. Has anyone road/tracked race these?

c5 handles better than a 350z...

Print this out, and after you beat him give him a copy. Might help him make better decisions in the future.

yuuuuuuuuup as everyone said...NO contest what so-ever....... 350z is a very high 13s to 14 flat car.....your vette is a very high 12s to low 13s car....itll rape a 350z all day long.

How can you even think that...gimme your keys to the vette right now

The newer Z's are quicker then the 05's (06's rated at like 300 I think) but no where near vette territory at the track or strip.

The S2000 that I had I refused to trade for one. I looked at them and test drove a few, but there was no comparison to that other than having some torque.
