i wonder if their 330 will be underrated.... perhaps a rating of 330 with actual power closer to 350.... like a certain other f-body generation..... one we're all pretty familiar with....
prolly not.... but hey. it'd be pretty neat amirite?

but what kind of torque can you get out of a natural v6. I meen will it have the go power through all rpms like a v8 or will it have a certain rpm power range that it has to be in to get power.

If I had to buy a V6 gen-5, it would be built like Jay Leno's.

hell the new stang v6 could rattle some hi mileage stock ls1's if the ls1 was caught off guard

Should help even the playing field with the V6 Mustang when it comes to flat out straight line performance. A 1/4 race between the current V6 Mustang and this new V6 Camaro should be a bit closer now, I'd still give the edge to the Mustang but I don't think it will beat it as bad as it does currently.
It's still a shitty car though.

I'm one of the few haters on this board about the looks, I love it. However, the car is a pig and that's what kept me away from this car. When asked what we were looking for in this car that was one of my main concerns expressed to settlemire. You negate any performance gains when you add 500lbs over the previous gen. 330hp might as well be 200 in a car that's close to 4000lbs . Having said that when the next gen comes out I might get one as that seems to be something they will address. The car is just too big as it sits now, the alpha platform will hopefully save it because the mustang is getting it right in the performance arena.
