    285 vs. 305 vs. 310

Those are the 3 HP options offered in 96, how do I know which one I am? I am guessing 285 was Z28 and 310 was SS? so what about 305? Z28 M6? thanks

dammit, I used to know the answer to this question......I bought a brand new '94 TA GT and I kept up to date for quite a while after.......one thing I am pretty sure of......the ratings didn't have anything to do with the transmission being auto or manual. I'll see if I can find out.

Yes you should and you may get lucky and find it...
I'm going to take my 3.15 out for a 3.42.

Only time i've heard 3 options is if you included the v6.. Between a Z28 & SS there should be a 15-20hp difference..

Nothing at all, you just look older...i was surprised..
I have a son your age but he's into the nissans which i've never been a big fan of. I remember when my mom had a datsun 810 and it was ok with the 260zx motor but i grew into a chevy & honda fan..

Interesting, it may of been like in the 80's where they had a base model, a z28 & an i-rock. HP ratings come down to the intake and i thought 285 seemed way to high for a v6.
