It’s back and you can see it live on Power TourThe Internet was teeming with Camaro rumors for months leading up to the Detroit Auto show this January, speculating on what Chevrolet would load up in the next salvo of the current Pony car war. Something special was coming, that much was sure, and Z/28 was the most frequent and persistent rumor, but, like with the Corvette Z06, Chevrolet went way back into the archives and dusted off an appropriate model designation. While the Z/28 was a high-revving, small-displacement road racer, the ZL1 was a big-block beast of a drag racer. With an all-aluminum 427, the ’69 ZL1 was rare, expensive, and brutal. The 2011 model will definitely be more common, and its supercharged 6.2L should prove to be big-block-quick at the strip, but we can’t tell you specifics just yet. Chevrolet hasn’t released the price or the official dyno numbers, but with the same LSA as the 556hp CTS-V, it’s not going to be a slouch.

unfortunately i think this is going to be another gubm't motors flounder.. aside from being fugly (they should have used an original design instead of "retro"), ..but who do they think will be able to afford the sticker on this thing?

Took some pics of it at G15. Scott said it was chipped and will not go over 20 mph right now cause of all the one off stuff on it. Pics were taken with cellphone so forgive the shit quality.
