http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...r-in-2010.html
I haven't seen a thread yet about this topic, and wasn't sure if anyone knew. I figured i'd let you guys know as i'm actually kind of excited for the change. I've never really been a fan of Nascar, but i'll probably watch it and keep track after the switch

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Sounds good. And HOPEFULLY there won't be any "aero" noses made like the current Charger. Charger looks like a brick in street trim, not bad, but DOES NOT BELONG IN NASCAR.

Don't they all end up using the same engines?

oooo that means maybe camaro will be inn as well. if not NASCAR needs their heads examined. They need to get rid of Toyota alltogether that is a disgrace. There wasn't any toyotas running shine,it was ford ,chrysler,GM, and american automakers that are no longer made.

GM said there is no plans on bringing in the camaro. They are sticking with the impala for now and in 2010.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Camaro SS SLP M6
Nascar is a joke. they need to go back to the everyone has there own car design. if they can let each of them bring there own body lines, it will work.

I'd like to see it be Corvette, Dodge Viper, Shelby and possibly the G8. I can't figure out what Toyota could bring to the table unless they bring the Supra back out....I would def watch more then. I guess it comes down to specs and aerodynamic regulations with all the different body styles....

Supposedly their using real Challengers and Mustangs 'close to stock form', but Chevy opted out using the Camaro to keep using the Impala. My theory is they're planning on rebadging the G8 as Impalas since it is heavily regarded by the auto world, and GM killed Pontiac so no more G8s. Then again, thats my theory

ahh No ... GM backing and big checks wins races .. but GM pulled out of Truck Series and Nationwide series ... Toyota is already takeing over wins in both these series ....GM is still backing the Chevy teams in Cup , for now, then we will see how good Chevy HP does ...
