You're basing your whole argument on one video? I doubt seriously that an engine with 425 rated hp is going to let a car leech it down 100hp....something is wrong with their dyno, even you should have seen that to begin with, since you're so quick on the negatives...

tell me how a 400 pound heavier car with the same hp rating can run a 13.0 with a 111 trap speed ...kind of defies logic doesnt it

the ls3 is a proven performer ...the heads are basically ls7s without the titanium valves...my dream engine build would be a bored and stroked ls3 for my t/a . ..that over a ls9 and a ls7 ..oh and cant forget the ls3 intake..that is also a great piece

I agree, and have the same dream for the SS.... and only have one small question, isn't the LS9 basically an LS3 with a supercharger? I've read up on it before, but don't remember and am too lazy to do it again...

yea ..but with improved internals ....much much much improved internals ..the blocks are most likely the same

That makes sense. But man that LS9 is expensive...pretty much the reason I've lowered my standards to an LS3 or LSx of some sort...so I can afford to rebuild the tranny and replace the rear end too...that's just a given.
