2008 Mustang GT/CS convertible value - low miles
So -
I'm trying to get some input/information for my buddy's, Mom's, friend.
His Mom's friend has an '08 Mustang GT/CS convertible. It's black, and only has 6,600 miles on it.
What's it worth? Private party value?
It has lower gears, CAI, Hurst shifter -
kbb.com says it's worth ~$25,800 (private party value) ~$23,600 (trade in)
Thoughts/opinions? I don't know squat about the Ford market right now, but the numbers kbb says do not seem very far off.

Liquid Red- 2008 Pontiac G8 GT
I wouldn't trust KBB unless they're writing a check for the amount that they say it's worth. That's never gonna happen, so use New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews and Pricing - Edmunds.com instead. They're much more accurate and update their pricing more than once every 6 months. Personally, I think the car is worth about 22-23k private party value.

I wouldn't go by any of those sites period. The used car market is crazy right now with the pricing because of new car prices. What people are asking is much more then many of the vehicles are worth. I've seen a 1995 Cadillac Eldorado with 57,XXX miles being listed at $13,950........crack is what they are smoking. Thats just one example of many I have found Other then that, I can't help you much.

I paid ~ 26k for my low mileage 08 Hummer, no way in hell an 08 mustang GT is worth the same.
Hummers hold their value well, Mustangs do not.

banks and dealers use NADA when doing price comparisons. i would say that while the value is still high due to the low miles, what you will be able to get for the car is lower than stated due to the fact that the new body style is out and because the new GT has the new 5.0L engine which the '08 does not.

I would have to guess 23kish, I would start at 25k. It has super low miles and is a California special or atleast that is what I get when I see CS. Even though it is only an appereance package it adds value to the car because it is a factory option.

You won't touch a low mileage 08 for that price I guarantee it.
mine had ~30k or so when I purchased it.
The H3 holds it's value better than many of the lesser SUVs'.
I will agree though if it's not @ least a VVT you can buy them cheap.
Mustangs don't hold their value for shit.

It's full time 4x4, and you can run a car plate on it instead of a truck plate.
