    2008 Challenger SRT8 $37,995

    http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/29/2...art-at-37-995/

As we revealed a few days ago, the first Dodge Challengers to go on sale will only be 2008 SRT8 models. Today we've learned that those 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8s will carry an MSRP of $37,995 (including $675 for destination) and that dealers will begin taking orders for them as early as December 3rd.
More than I would spend [unless it weighs less than 3,200 lbs (and I know that is not possible)]

Damn. The only way you could get me to spend that kind of money on a car is if it were a vette or viper.

Saw the concept at the Denver show a couple years back. Still waiting to see the production car.

Maybe they'll sell a v6 version for 25k so you can roll with the mustang gt's.

my older brother is probably gonna buy one of these. He's waiting for it to come out. I just have a couple problems with it other than it not having an LSx engine. The concept weighed 4100 pounds. That's a huge pig for a 2 door, hopefully they put it on a diet. The other problem is the price. I would gamble on the camaro beating the piss out of it for less money and having an LSx based engine. GM owns the performance market for engines with the LSx motors, no one can touch them. Now if they can just come up with a car people actually want.

I agree, seeing how gto was 3800lbs and had 400hp for $32K I think camaro will be less than $35K, a little bit lighter (3600lbs) with the same power

    It will be interesting
I wish I could afford the new camaro
