The reason you will get alot of negative post is being so young and having such a nice car. With these cars getting older and easier for young people to buy them, you are seeing more and more teenagers driving them. Even though these cars are getting old, they are more then a handful for most people on the road, teen or not. Also, do not race unless its on the track. You can use the search feature and find guys on here that have driven for years and raced for years and still crashed and wrecked their babies on the street, IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE AT ANYTIME! With all that being said, have fun with your car, respect your car, respect yourself and don't get into trouble.

Depends, does the car have a wing, fart can, and other supporting mods IE....Stickers and boost gauges. If so, you may be in for a world of hurt. Those add a little under 500 hp at 3000rpms and make max torque at 1000 rpms a little under 1000lbs

Yeah, I feel ya. But on the other hand, you have to start somewhere and LS1.com is a good place to start. Thats one reason I don't think teens should get these cars. But oh well, not my call to make and it doesn't interfere with my life so.....

Hey guys!
I had the same question as the OP but different vehicle. 2009 EZ GO gasoline powered golf cart. I know I know, at first it's nothing to be weary of, BUT, it does have a Corvette body kit on it. I was kind of getting worried with the thought of it actually pulling off a win in a race versus me.
But, after reading your replies, I'm not so worried anymore. I'm going to stomp the shit out of that little gasoline powered 2009 EZ-GO golf cart. Corvette body kit and all.

If you really need to ask about a cobalt, you have no business owning or even driving anything with a V8 let alone a v6...... Seriously think about things like this before you speak. A stock cobalt? Just take a look at them. All you need to do. www.google.com is your friend!

Ask ATCharming. He should know, I think he drives one. Or crashes them. Either way.

Hey man... U will crush him, big time.
Just take it easy if it is Ur first race, take the time to find a safe big parking
lot and try a few launches first. U will not need to get on it to hard to beat
a stock non-SS Cobalt.
Nice car, be safe!
Please practice first!
Do not take it to hard these guys can be harsh,
serious I wish I had a 02 Hawk at Ur age... It can piss people off!Last edited by SS02; 02-16-2009 at 10:11 AM.
