Very cool. Crazy thing is more than half the country no longer supports us. Starting to sound like vietnam all over again. I understand protesting the war but is it really the right time while our men are out there fighting the war. If they start beliving they are not supose to be there they are more at risk of geting killed.

The majority of the population supports you. It is the gov't policies and management they are against.

I like to think a lot of those numbers are bogus. Just my opinion on how the polls are conducted, but in one of my classes, the same question about government finding jobs for the homeless or something. It varried from 75% for it to 75% against on a different wording of the same question.

Here in Kansas I think there are more cars that have those "we support our troops" stickers than those without. Besides, national media is a weeee bit biased on the war, which doesn't help the people that do not seek both sides of the story.

I may not agree with the reason's Bush gave for being in Iraq, I do believe that we needed to take care of a threat to a lot of countries. Bush should've just said that we are going to go over and arrest Saddam by whatever means necessary, and let the public complain about him telling the truth instead of trying to back pedal through the whole WMD thing.

Since I do not do it enough, I give a salute (albeit civilian) to all of the men and women in uniform for doing a job, that I am not capable of. I sleep peacefully at night because of you. Because of you our country and this world is a much better and safer place. There are still a couple of country songs that are played which still bring a tear to my eye when I listen to the words and think about what the soldiers must go through. To those in the war, God Bless and come home safe.

Where the hell you getting that information at? Just because people don't support the war doesn't mean they don't support the troops. Hell, most of the guys i worked with when i was enlisted thought this was a bullshit war and i've met a couple marine vietnam vets on the outside that talk about how much bush has fucked this all up and it's Vietnam: Part 2.

And i tell you if i would have been tasked to build some bombs to take out some bad guys so none of our guys got hurt you are damn straight my ass would be the first one up to build them and those marine vets i have meet on the outside would still jump up to help out their fellow marine if they needed it and they don't support the war either.

There are some cocksuckers out there that will spit on the troops and call military folk "baby killers" but fuck them. They are not even a fraction of this country.
