That is not too bad, but you may need a motor in a few more miles. I would have to see the car to know for sure.

I have seen many 200,000+ ls1 engines... still running healthy and still taking abuse at the track.

If the car looks clean, sounds clean, and doesnt leak (minus the 10bolt pinion seal, all of them leak)...

I would say buy the car. you will be getting a great shell.

things to be concerned about:
-transmission syncros
-clutch condition
-10 bolt condition

I bought my 98 last year for $5,000 with just over 173,xxx on it. it's my daily driver. I now have 178,xxx on it and it runs like a champ. It uses no oil and starts every time I put the key in. I've even taken it on trips of 700+ miles at a time and it runs flawlessly. It feels like if I were to run it at the track it'll turn a high 13 low 14 1/4 mile.

I guess what I'm saying is that a well taken care of car can last a long time.

If that's true, and I'm sure it is, 175,000k would be 175,000,000 miles. I would buy it and keep it cause it is the engine with the most miles on it ever. Is that even possible?

Yes unless i was mistaken "K" means thousand i wouldnt be look at and car that have 175 mil on it....
