    1980 Trans Am (Again)

IDK, every time I see this car, I want it. I would have bought it the last time, if the rear brakes worked. But now that Vette has been side swiped and really no interest in the car anymore, at least not like I did with my Trans Am. Well put it this way, when I see a 2nd Gen T/A. I am hard wired to get sexually excited for that car, I am have a strong passion for those POS. But I finally see her again, figure I would snap some pics up (since I could not last time).

Originally, he was asking $8,500 for it. I talked him down to $5,000 right off the bat, only seen one pics. Now he has it on the side of the road, for $4,000.

    None the less, pic time.

Has some rust issues, and floor pans need to be replaced on the passenger side... For some reason I still want it. IDK why, just do.

Almost tempted to see if he wants to trade toward my Vette and he put some cash. Save the poor car... Also since I am starting another company and it appears I may have a decent contract in the works. I will need some cash to get it started, I have the cash... Just don't want to empty my savings, just in case. IDK, I just want something to tinker with. Maybe I should list my Corvette for sale, if I do decide to buy that Trans Am. So I will have the upper hand.

You might consider help for the sexual attraction to a car thing.

Lol, its a joke. I just think these cars look really good. But, there's also more room for sex in that car... Real hard in the Corvette.

Try women instead of getting a new car. They are generally smaller and lighter. Also with an old car nine times out of ten there is more problems than you think. You will also get raped on fuel.

I am fixing to be driving an 08 Ram with a Hemi, almost everyday if this deal goes through. Plus pulling a damn trailer, through Orlando... I am sure that T/A will get better.

Oh, cool, yea, wouldn't pay an arm and leg for that car.

I'd go ahead and keep the vette honestly, don't know why you don't like it, has a lot of potential.

From a man's viewpoint: If it's got tires or tits it'll give you problems.

From a woman's viewpoint: If it's got tires or testicles it'll give you problems.

Ipso facto: If it's got tires it'll give you problems...

That Hemi, none in my house can only get 12-13 MPg in the city on a good day. I would only be driving that truck for a couple months though, should be able to buy a nice tuck by then.

You think this will get more than that in the city? Wrong. Also, that kind of mileage is because of your driving style

My only problem with the Vette... I never thought I would say this, but that back seat in the Trans Am was nice. Nice to have the extra seat when needed, mostly nice to have the extra space when needed. Plus since it got side swiped, I just don't even want to look at it....

Was saying instead of worrying about a bigger car to play butthole brigadier in he could just get a girlfriend instead.

No, I know that Trans Am will get some piss more economy. No, when I drive that truck, it's with a light foot. Never take it over 65 and RPM's very low. Going up to GA, I can get about 16-17 MPg. It has CAI and a tune, plus some other bolt ons...

I did say Hemi, a few times. It's a 4x4, it's stock gears. No, the gas mileage is pretty spot on. Look it up, we are not the only person getting these numbers.
