150 mph is a lil fast

I got my 02 WS.6 up to 150 the other night. It floats like a bastard and was kinda nerve racking (good thing I was pretty drunk(don't worry it was out in the middle of nowhere KS)) Anyway what can I do to make it sit down better at those kind of speeds? All I have is the front shock tower brace.

dude while you were drunk? when your driving at that speed you should be in your most alert state whether threres people on the road or not

thats odd, cause when i hit 140 in my Z it was firmly planted and didnt float for shit, and that was on stock suspension.

Basically the LT1 (both 'Bird and Z28) have better stock aerodynamics than the LS1 f-bodies, not to mention a little more wieght to keep the nose planted better.

thats some pretty scary shit...ive been 120 in my car and backed off because it was getting a little fast..but 150...and drunk? DAMN!!!!

Try it sober and still see if it feels like you are floating lol

what to do... goto police station and confess to your story and put it on paper @ the station... that will keep the front end of your car planted.
If you want to go to that kind of speeds.
1. go to a track
2. sober up

otherwise... i just simply wish you end up in prison, so you won't deprive innocent ppl from their lives.

You best hope I never find out where this 'nowhere' is or i will be racing you in my black and white car with the not so custom red and blue lights on top

I guess you must have been really drunk to think that the tower brace will help in your handling department.

That night the hammock I was sitting on fell into the lake, earlier in the night I was being driven around by a chick who was drunk and high. Hindsight says bad choice, but at the time, she was a surprisingly good driver... as far as my drunken state could tell.

As for going those speeds in an LS1... Thats when you wish you had thirdgen handling

What we need to do is to explain to him in a meaningful manner, why this was a bad idea. Not talking trash and calling him names. That accomplishes nothing.

I have done stupid shit like that when I was drunk, doing over 100, without the headlights, and drunk off my ass.
Yes, I know it was Stupid. No one here needs to point it out.

As far as driving 150, I have had my Camaro over 140, and it really floats!!! It is not near as aerodynamic as the LT1 or LS1 cars. But it sure was fun. And yes, I was sober in those runs. I never drink when I drive my Camaro, not one. Not anymore.

There are too many Asshole Cops out there that will fry you for driving too fast and having a little beer on your breath. (that was said in Sarcasm).
