108-110 mph winds....
I heard both 108 on one news channel and 110 on the other. Either way the wind was a blowin' last night about 4am. Lost 3-4 trees. It took the top 20ft out of one of my lodge pole pines. I have a few dozen of those 50ft or better. Up rooted one of my maple trees and ripped limbs out of a couple other ones and took out 2-3 other big pines. Got a couple of them cut up today. I'm going to have the maple and a couple of the pines milled.
We were fortunate though. No real damage. Missed the house, cars, camper, and boat.

Wow, some serious wind! Good see them kids sitting on a tree resting on the ground instead of a tree resting on the GTO!
Think you would still take a picture, with them smiling?

You could have had a really good run with that kind of a tail wind.
Last weekend we lost another tree. Chainsaws are fun!

The highest wind clocked here was 86mph when it rolled through, some places are still without power till tommorrow. On the plus side, dq gave away all it's ice cream. Kick ass!

they were having a field day. I on the other hand was sweating my ass off cutting limbs up and hauling them to the back where I can burn them. I think I took about 6-8 truck loads back today and that's just half of it. My wife helped out by using the mower and cart to haul loose ends back but that ends up being more a pain than it's worth. I'd rather do it in truck loads.

I had the cover on the GTO and it blew it off. I never put that cable on underneath it because it's just to big of a pain in the ass. First time I've ever had the wind blow the cover off though.
