10 year high school reunion
Just found out that my 10 reunion is this September. To tell you the truth I hadn’t even thought about it. I want to go just to see old friends and how people turned out. From what I've been told, the first 10 year is a joke. Everyone is still finding themselves and/or put on some fake BS personas.
Just wanted to get some insight on the people that went to theirs and what I should expect.

My 25 year is this September. 20 years and on is cool. I still hang with some friends fom high school.
Yeah,10 years was kind of boring. Keep 'em guessing, wait 'till the 20th year.

my 5 year sucked enough i didnt bother with my 10 year. no offence to those with kids but all these idiots do is show you pics of their kids the whole time then you are supposed to say "oh he/she is cute" . do not do it, for real they all still suck as much as back in the day.

I never knew they did 5 years. Hell most people are just finishing or still in college at that point.
My 10 year is this Sep too. I graduated in 97. I assume the one starting this topic did the same.
I probably won't go because I moved out of state. I am only about 5.5 hrs away. I may make the trip. But I didn't stay in touch with one person from HS. so I dont really see the point.

I'm a little unique because I live about a mile away from the HS I went to. Lots of people stayed in the area after HS and we associate often.
I went to my 10, 15, and 20 year reunions. All were fun, and yes, some of the same people from HS still think they are it. So what? I ignored them just as easy at the reunions as I did in HS.
I never had to drive more than a half hour to get to any of them though. We also had golf tournaments which were fun. I was probably the worst golfer of the bunch!!!
At the twenty year reunion, we had a little contest for who had changed the least. Surprisingly, I was voted as second. Only one lady had changed less. I guess that meant I was as ugly that night as I was in HS!!!
They're fun, if you let them be fun. My wife and I both enjoyed them. She even helped arrange one.

i remember our class validictorian accusing everyone of being inept and amounting to bagging groceries/frying burgers in his speech @ graduation...god, i wish I had paid more attention to that speech, that was the only line I caught, i remember no one applauded when he left the stage, it was like an entire football stadium fell silent and you could hear the a/c kick on at the house down the street.
