0w-30?
So i was at walmart yesterday and was going to get some more oil, cuz im in need of a change and seen mobil 1 now makes 0-30... anyone had any runins with this or got some good info? it says "advanced fuel economy" on thebottle. Thought i would try it so we will see.... will i have any probs goin from 5-30 to 0-30?

i would imagine you engine MIGHT consume more / some oil due to the lower viscosity..?
other than that, i dont see what the problems would be

personally i'd fear more wear and tear on bearings and other internal parts due to the lower viscosity. i'd like to know how it compares in protection against 5w-30 and 10w-30 at operating temperatures before i ever put it in any of my engines.

I buy the cheapest brand. The numbers mean nothing to me. I drive a third gen. It really doesn't matter.

I used Pennzoil Platinum on my last oil change & I am not sure if it is just a coincidence but my valve seals started leaking after about 1000 miles of using it. I never burned any oil before when I was using the German made Castrol 0W-30. Not sure if I am going to go back to Pennzoil Platinum. I just can't find my Castrol anymore.
