    Question Are the 03+ terminator(cobra) stangs that damn good?

    Not trying to start anything, but I know somebody in another state who just bought a silver one and he says it dynoed 450+wrhp with just a pulley and exhaust, is that possible or is that bs?

    From my understanding, a tune is a good thing to have when changing pully size. But considering how many things factor into HP numbers, I don't see 450 being un-believable

    So your saying 450wrhp is possible with those mods and a tune? WOW!!!! Why dont Cobra's get more love here then
    that makes me think different about my next car choice that's for sure.

    probably a tune also. I was looking at a guys car domain had 380rwhp with just a k&n

    I like Cobras, I like fords.. As you can see I drive one everyday. It took the 4.6 a little while to come around. Ford put weak internals in most of them and due to that fact the aftermarket was slow to get on the boat. That and the 4.6 was first designed to be FWD and its block and bore spacing make "going big" hard to do

    dare i chime in? the 03 cobras routinely dyno around 350 to on the high end 370 rwhp stock so throw in pulley exhaust and cai and tune. yes 450 rwhp is the norm. entirely possible.

    i agree on the 03 cobra being costly. the gas mileage sucks. the insurance sucks. but the hp per dollar rules.

    A buddy of mine is selling his cobra with 18k on the dash for 25k I just saw an 00ss for 17k the other day.

    I really like them and if i was able to get that kind of cash i would have one, They take very well to mods.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! lol the 03 cobra was between 33k and 36k for a vert. the 02 ws6s were a bit overpriced at 32k. lets face it part of the reason fbods are gone is cause they jus got to pricey for the market that loved them most.

    man these cars are a dime a dozen anymore, i dont like to say that but really they are getting to be like that, in a few years they will be so low on price ill prolly more then one

    you cant spend 20k and get a cobra

    The base back then with how crazy people were modding costed a crap-ton compared to today because they were still new and performance parts were still in the works.

    Im not a die hard GM fan i enjoy any car that was made to haul ass. the cobra is a awesome car for the price and i really think it will be the grand national of our time.
