yeah....I had some problems with this weeks picks. 3 or 4 gave me problems. I'm also in another league where you pick 1 winner a week and it's single elimination so you miss 1 week and you're out. You can only choose a team once the whole season. I took the steelers last week just due to the fact I *thought* cleveland would be an easy win so I didn't want to waste an early week on seattle or someone. Now this week I have to pick a sure winner game but I don't want to burn a sure win down the road either. I'm going to sit down and go through the season and get all 15 picks ironed out tonight. This week though picking a sure winner is looking tough. I don't even know for sure that seattle and denver will win this week. Both are iffy. Seattle *should* beat SD but SD can burn your ass every now and then. I'm leaning towards houston.

I did my usual last minute change. Heard that Newton was out, so went with Tampa and while I was there, changed my pick over the the Ravens... I really have to stop doing that. It's like I can't help myself sometimes. I spend a good amount of time going over my picks. Certain games just leave you wondering if you made the right pick though. I have to do my research and then learn to just leave my picks alone!

I really don't think it matters too much. I've tried that in the past. I'll make my picks early and be confident of those picks so I resist the urge to change them......then they miss. It's like you're just destined to miss certain picks and no matter what you do you're going to miss them.

I know you're right. Just sucks when you do the last minute change and it ends up that you had it right the first time. It's pretty much always a crapshoot for the most part. I guess that's why it's called an upset. Cuz... I was a little upset

I had a 4th grade teacher tell me a long time ago to go with your first gut instinct...its usually the right one. She was obviously referring to tests or something like that, it has stuck with me since then and I've actually found it to be pretty accurate.

I call it women's intuition. I'm just not always as intuitive as I should be

I'll be at the saints/browns game this weekend. My brother scored us some free tickets in a suite there. That's exactly what it would take to get me back to cleveland too.....anything less and I would've passed. Free food, free beer, and hanging out in a suite away from the other fans.

When Ben is covered, he's a great quarterback. But, when he's got seconds trying to find his man, I always lose my breath! He's been sacked a lot. He is getting up there though. There is always an expiration date.
