Newtons do what they want and damn the consequences for auburn or cam's teammate that worked all this year for a championship.very selfish for cecil newton to be there after what he tried to do in the pay for play scheme and cam knew he was there that's why he looked for him immediately after the game.shows newton really don't care about auburn, just themselves.

True that! F'n ridiuclous. You violated our rules and you're suspended, but you're not suspended until next year. Makes sense.

Have you all seen this article? Interesting point of view even if I disagree with most of it.

Newton family knows good and well their son will not have a degree...it is all about football and the NFL big payday. So who cares about "The University"....certainley not the Newtons.

Thats what all college students go to school for. To learn, get good at and make money in there profession. Some study hard and some practice football all day so they can play in the NFL and make money.

Makes no sense. This whole deal just 'stinks' and the NCAA is looking like a bunch of god damn idiots. Newton's are obviously doing what they want w/out consequences. Hopefully they wise up, yank that Heisman away from him and forfeit the BCS trophy.

Absolutely - all in the name of money. They don't care about enforcing their own rules.

Had Pryor and the boys not played, not as many would've watched, witch equates to fewer people watching(lesser ratings), and less money.

Any bets on those five guys returning to Ohio State next year?

And if they don't, what can Ohio State do to stop them? Not a damn thing!

The AP/Coaches seem to go by record and tradition. I guess (besides Boise State) they are the lowest ranked 12-1 team. However, there are numerous teams ranked 6 on back that could hand OSU their ass. Most notably Oklahoma and Alabama, oh, and Wisconsin (who already did it once this year).

The funny thing is 3 out of the 5 had catches for touchdowns, one made like 3 tackles and 1 was the qb....there is no way they would have won if they wern't playing...
