Lets just ask the obvious question. What do you do and what do you invest in? You should never limit the growth of your portfolio. However, if you are in the position, you may want to consider setting up trust funds. Start by setting up your immediate family ofcourse, then extend out from there. I'm to the point where I have just started college trust funds for the neighborhood kids on my street. I'm actually going to blow some of my cash running for mayor here too. I also give a fair share to charities. I've given $1.8 million over a 5 year period to the United Negro College Fund. Actually a nice tax deduction as well. I've also set up a foreign student scholarship program from the University I attended. Our family lawyer is always researching the next move. Helping families with foreign adoptions is on my plate as well. This may sound coarse, but the financial benefit is far greater than trying to place american children. Hey, if you want, we can get together and setup some more college trust funds. There are three more kids on my street left. I could have my lawyer draw up the papers. I'll check back in about 3 weeks. I'm taking the family to Europe.
