    New Wheels

Finally got the new wheels I pulled the trigger on back in December. They are Forgestar CF5V, 19x10 +23mm Deep Concave 285/35 front, 19x11 +29mm Super Deep Concave 325/30 rear, wrapped in Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. Originally I was going to get Michelin PS4s, but they are on back order until March...

Also went ahead and debadged the side emblems, and took a short road trip with the fraternal twin:

Wow, black rims are getting popular nowadays and looks great on white cars.
Now, I am tempted to check on some
wheels and tires package online for the cars at home.

With all of the other black accents on the car, it was a no-brainer for me. I did opt for a semi-gloss black and not full gloss or matte. Matte never look clean, and full gloss is way too shimmery for my liking, at least on my car.

Just an update Scott, I was told the wheels without tires come in at just under 24 pounds for the 19x11, and closer to 23.5 on the 19x10. The shipping weight was inflated by the additional items included in the boxes (lugs & freebies).

They have done really well for the past 11-12k miles, with some life to spare even.

The black American Racing rims that I just ordered from 4wheelonline looks similar to your new rims. Nice choice, by the way.

Resurrecting my old thread to say that the tire shop did a number on my wheels and they are paying for all four to be stripped and powdercoated. I am going with a different color given the 'free' respray, just to change it up a bit. Going with Triple Bronze from Prismatic Powders. Will post pics after it's done (May 20th appointment).

Wheels re-sprayed. Been too rainy to get any better pics, but this is what I got for now.
