Can't find a local Indy deal with a 2022 Camaro allocation
I would order one now, since the order books are open, but I can't find a local Indy dealer with an allocation.
I hate having the cash in my pocket for a car, then can't get one....

I know it's not local, but you should contact Joe Posby (formerly Becky D but she passed away last year) at James Martin Chevrolet in Detroit. They are one of the largest (if not the largest) new Camaro dealers in the country. I know they have a huge following on the 6th gen forums, and they are known for flying people in or setting up a delivery to your local dealer.

I called them, thanks. They don't have any allocations either. I already had my name in with the #2 dealership group in the country. This dealership wasn't on the top 10 in 2019. I don't expect one for a long time. I just was hoping for a low serial number. I have the orderbook, so I'm ready.

I could have been mistaken on that. Becky was a high volume Camaro salesperson when she was alive, and had recently moved from Rodgers Chevrolet to James Martin before she passed. And it could have been some exaggeration on the part of forum members where I got my info
I've personally never ordered a car from the factory, my Camaro came off a dealer swap between Tulsa and Dallas. I wish you luck in your search.
