Swapping LS1 from Formula to Z28

    Hi, All.

I'm considering moving my wrecked 2000 year LS1 engine to a '99 Z28 Camaro body. The 2000 LS1 is mated to the 6 sp manual trannie. Was wondering if there might be any issues in mating it to a 4 speed auto.

    Thanks for any help.

Nope, sounds like a direct swap to me as long as nothing important is missing in the 99.

    Thanks.

On a related note: Does anyone know the maximum mileage I can expect to get with an LS1 engine before major problems occur (assuming it has been taken very good care of)?
