LS3 T56M Swap occasionally losing gas pedal????

Hey folks brand new to the forum as I'm a new LS owner. Just swapped my 92 Camaro to an LS3 T56M Connect and Cruise. Love the upgrades and currently going thru the process of dialing it in. ***I'm not a mechanic*** so go easy on me. Occasionally I lose all responsiveness from the gas pedal. Seems to happen sporadically on medium acceleration in any gear. Engine does not shut off just lose the pedal and have to turn the car off wait about 30 seconds, restart and its fine. Still working on tuning and have been getting P0171 code for lean bank1 but no other codes that would indicate why I would lose the throttle completely. Any insight or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Well got the tune and the car is running great. No more codes, but still occasionally lose the pedal. It does not throw a code when the pedal goes. Still have to pull over shut the car off and wait 20-30 seconds before pedal responds. This would seem to indicate some sort of safety switch to me. My car has the E38 ECM which we sent back to Hawks Performance a few times already. Do the pedals have a safety switch built in to them? Not sure my next step other than to get it on a dyno and try to replicate the problem while plugged in......
