ls1 into 94 camaro

im getting two camaros one 98 ss wrecked not fixable and the other a 94 5 speed with a v6 im wanting the pull the ls1 out of the 98 and put it in the 94 my question is how will i get a 5 speed for the car or will the 6 speed work

Your V6 tranny will not work, your going to have to swap the LS tranny along w/ the motor.

I knew the v6 tranny wouldn't work I was just wondering if there was a 5 speed I could pickup somewhere

Im also wanting to do the same thing to my 94 base camaro and what will i have to change for the engine to fit in it mount wise

If you want to stay manual you'll need to get a six-speed (T56). The problem with doing that is the wiring harness for the '98 car won't work because it's for an auto. You'll need to find a manual LS1 harness...make sure it's for a '98, because the harnesses changed for '99-02. Personally, I'd just keep it auto for now.
