Dual tanks corvette filter/regulator
So I am currently in the middle of an LM7 Swap into my 79 K20. I was planning on keeping the dual tanks and using a walbro external pump and a corvette filter/regulator after the tank selector valve so I don't have to worry about getting a high pressure tank switch.
I had a random thought today that if the regulator regulates the pressure to 60lb and the pump puts out 70 psi or more, then wouldn't the regulator constantly have a flow back to the tank? So if I route the return line back to one tank or the other, theoretically if the tank it was routed back to was full, wouldn't it keep filling the tank and push fuel out the vent? Or I could T the return to both tanks to hopefully circumvent that issue?
Anyone used a similar setup?
Thanks!
