6.0 in a 2000 WS6
Ok so to start this off it's going to be a long build getting things done here and there as funds become available BUT...I have a lead on a 2003 6.0L out of a 2500 and its a steal 450 with ecu and wiring harness. I am going to strip it down and go with forged internals but my question is in the wiring and ecu. Do I need to keep that ECU and wiring from the 6.0L or will my LS1 wiring and ecu swap right in. Common sense tells me yes but it will run very rough until tuned.

Hello and to answer your questions Yes it will work with your wiring harness.
I too have a forged 403ci using a LQ4 block. Any questions feel free to ask. Quite a few of us been down the road you're on.
Here are some engine builds that might help answer any questions or at least act as a guide and help avoid trouble spots.

Yes plus all accessories.
It's 05 and newer you have to start worrying about the reluctor wheel.
