a friend of mine had me install the driver's toe link and align the car. you have to lower the subframe to get the inner bolt out because the fuel tank is in the way. contrary to what's out on the internet, the zl1 isn't "beefier". it is the same arm, just the rubber bushings are spherical ends. here's some pictures of installing it.

once you remove the tire, there are two bolts to remove to get the toe link out.





this shows the inner toe link bolt hitting the fuel tank.



loosen the four subframe bolts just enough so the bolt can clear the fuel tank.



remove the inner bolt and replace. tighten the subframe bolts.
