brakes and rotors

finally had to replace the brakes. i ordered drilled/slotted rotors and pads from detroit axle through amazon. all four rotors, pads, brake fluid, and brake cleaner for under $200.00



take a small punch to push the pins out.



before removing the caliper, use two screwdrivers to press the pistons back into the caliper with the old pads still in place. take an 18mm socket to remove the bolts that hold the caliper to the spindle.

use an impact driver with a T30 Torx bit to remove the screw holding the rotor to the hub. might need a hammer to loosen the rotor from the hub.

slide pads in



install the spring and pins. i put the top pin in, then hold the spring down to slide the lower pin into place. hammer the pins into place.



use the same procedure on all four corners. put wheels back on.

so far, no dust. braking at least the same.
