    WeaponX Performance Iridium Spark Plugs

I would have never thought these would be as good as they say but let me tell you I'm very happy about the quality and performance of this product for a spark plug. This is a relatively new company and thought I would let everyone know about their product since I'm very happy with the results.

For some background, I noticed a change going from NGK TR55 spark plugs to the NGK TR55IX iridiums. There was less miss at idle as well as better idle and throttle response over the NGK TR55's.

After swapping heads and cams I thought it would be a good idea to use a slightly colder plug so I contacted a local company called WeaponX who specializes in aftermarket ignition components. It just so happens that they had a plug for my application so I tried them out.

Never in my life would I have imagined a seat of the pants difference from a spark plug swap, infact the only reason the swap was done was to be cautious with the heat index and power range of my engine. Let me say that these made the car noticeably crisper in response and it pulls harder from a dead stop unlike before. In all honesty I never thought I would ever get excited or be this happy about swapping spark plugs! Hopefully others can get similar results.

The big selling points were the extended change intervals and the low impedance characteristics. 5000-10000 less ohms per spark plug vs typical designs (NGK / Denso etc).

    As far as rating.
    Performance vs other plugs 10/10
Driveability and engine manners vs other plugs 10/10
Look and quality of the spark plugs over other plugs 10/10
    Service 10/10

Very happy, I will definitely be using them again.

    Yup.

    *** no non-sponsor links ***

You can order them direct and the owners name is Mark incase you need to talk to anybody. He is real knowledgable on ignitions and is a real nice guy.

Also, the K6CF-ipt is the model name of the spark plugs I installed. They are suppose to hold up past 60K. If they can do that they will more then pay for themselves which is what I'm counting on.

Actually, this would probably be good to add to the review as well.

    COST BREAK DOWN

If I were to use the NGK TR55's for 60K worth of driving
    (6 spark plug changes) x (8 cylinders) x (1.99 a plug) = $95.52

    ADD
    Time/labour changing 8 spark plugs $150 x 6 times = $900

TOTAL $995.52 for 60K worth of driving with the NGK copper plugs

If I were to use the WeaponX Performance Iridiums for 60K worth of driving
    (1 spark plug change) x (8 cylinders) x (10 a plug) = $80

    ADD
    Time/labour changing 8 spark plugs $150 x 1 times = $150

TOTAL $230 for 60K worth of driving with the WeaponX Performance plugs.

I just don't want to be wasting time and money on multiple sets of spark plugs and wasting time trying to change the back 2 cylinders on the passenger side. If I can even get 20-30K out of these spark plugs I'll have better performance, better engine response and better mileage as well as save money on unnecessary spark plug changes.

Seems like the best of everything.

I removed your link. I can't help but notice that they're in windsor and you're in windsor. Wouldn't just be pimping a local shop by chance would you?
