Do these things give you any more hp or are they just a waste of money, an ad for the velcity stack said it gained 13hp on a 2001 c5 vette. Is this stuff crap or do they actually work?

Do not buy one of those things! First off they are junk, and I have heard a few cases of them hurting an engines performance or even damaging it.

They are about as good as the Tornado! They reduce the size of the TB, partially block PCV, IAC ports and have melted to the TB in some cases. Save your $$$$.

Crap? Yes. Actually work? Depends...it actually works in convincing enough ignorant people to transfer their money into someone else's pocket. It really works good at that.

+1 on what they said, dont waste your money. If need to, ball up some foil and wedge it in your intake it will prduce the same results.
