    QTP Electric cutout

LOVE THEM! I have them at the end of each of my headers and love the low grumble and annoying loud roar as I blow past someone or go under an overpass. Have had them in for about a year an rarely ever have them in the closed position. QTP has made an outstanding product that has stod the test of time. My only wish would be to have a positive open/closed indicator rather doing the count to 5-6 that you have to do now. And if you going to do it go ahead and splurged for there LT headers as well, IMHO they are far and away the best sounding and performin headers on the market, a litle salty as far as price but you do get what you pay for.............Way to go QTP!

    Secret.

Anyone know about durability?? I have considered purchasing these cutouts but my car will be a daily driver in the winter...unfortunatly but its the only choice i have right now. So I'm wondering how these cut outs will perform after a year or so??

Ive had mine for a while now (about 8 months). The only complaint is that it rattles when its closed. Other that than its worked well for me.

Never used one. I run the McCord Powerplate. No rattles here. And you can have them configure the indicator anyway you want. Mine lights up red when it is wide-open.

I was looking at the McCord and they seem like they are the way to go, a little more expensive though.

Yeah, Scratch that... I thought they were from when I was looking a while ago. I just looked it up and its $110 Vs. like $154 (McCord being cheaper). From what Ive heard from others, McCord is the way to go.
