    ebay rotating assembly

Hey guys! I'm finally starting my first engine project, so of course i'm looking for parts. I found this guy on ebay and i haven't been able to find much about this guy or brand. He hasn't return my call yet either. It just seems like too good a deal to be true and i know he talks like he knows the stuff and that it sounds like good stuff. Wondering if anyone has seen this guy before or know about his products? Or does it just sounds too much like a bad idea. I mean $1350 for a rotating assembly, how would he stay in business unless it was cheap foreign junk.

    Thanks

Yup, I'm with Jon. Pay the extra money and get the good parts and piece of mind when you hit 6,500 RPM.

I went with the Callies Compstar 383 kit and I couldn't be happier.

I read the listing and then went and searched "Engine Parts of America". Didn't even find a website. Pass.

Thanks for the input guys. I certainly agree about spending on piece of mind, but also on a budget. I wonder what it would take to buy the parts and get them tested. You know like sonic checking and testing the alloys. If anyone knows someone looking to ride of a 4 inch plus crank or any other internals let me know.

And if you find a problem? Good luck getting your $$ back, plus you are out the $$ for testing.

^^ All things considered, that really isn't a bad price. And your combo certainly works!

If you are on a budget, don't replace the crank. Stock crank is pretty stout. Otherwise, save up a little longer.

Texas Speed and Vengeance have cranks for a little more than that. I think I saw on TSP an eagle crank turned .01 for $699. I would buy from a reputable dealer if it were me.
