BFG KDW just crossed 20k miles

So far so good, going for my 4th rotation, never track run, occasional street runs. They've seen all 4 seasons, and I still have plenty of tread left.

I put some KDWS -two of them on the back last fall and I was amazed at the traction both in the wet and snow and in the dry.I love them to death.

That's great news to hear, because I've been running my KDW's for about a month now. Hopefully mine will last as long as yours.

That is what I'm going to buy. We get a hook here at work with BFGoodrich here at Year One. That is all we run on our cars.

Just to update, guy said I've got about 2k-4k miles left with them. Which is fine because tires were on the agenda for next spring with the bigger cam

I put a set of KDWS 18,000 miles ago and still have 25-30% tread left. They have great traction in rain. May not be the most quiet tire but not to bad.

Not here to sh_t disturbe but you guys must be the only ones that do like them. Even Motor trend tells ya to ditch them on the SRT4's. I've run with the BFG and found them to really hydro plane. I run pole positions and there is a massive difference!

I've never had any issues with my KDW in the rain, found they actually handled better then my Firehawks did, also I should have stated in my original post that I run mine at 35 psi to get the max life out of them. That has to contribute to the miles that I've gotten out of them.

Well I hate to tell ya, but more air in your tires, will wear them out a lot faster. The more air you add the less rubber will contact onto the road surface. Wearing out the middle of the tire. The proper tire pressure is 30PSI

Keys to long life: GM design the vehivle to run on 30psi. Rotations and inflation make a big difference. For every 5 lbs out of your tires wears them out 25% faster. Over inflating them causes a similar condition. Keep rotating them. Tires naturally loose 1lbs a month on a new tire.
    Anyways Merry xmas

I just got my KDWs , I LOVE mine . I can do 80 mph in the rain on the beltway without traction/hydroplaning issues . ( I normally go around 60 in the rain , I know its not good to do that speed in the rain all the time. ) They are quiet to me , better than the previous Kuhmos and Bridgestones I have had , Plus I only paid about $125 a tire for them .

I paid $187 for mine too. I like them, but I am dissappointed in the handeling compared to my old Bridgestone Potenza RE730's. I loved those tires. The BFG's ride real nice, but I think they have a lot of sidewall flex.

I have them also, I hydroplane like a mofo. I am scared to drive on a wet highway.
    Great dry traction.

Damn I love these things, I honestly haven't hydroed once. I just drove it pretty hard, 65-75 mph, the other day in the rain going to work with no issues. Felt strong throughout.

There are two tread patterns of the KDW's. F-body sizes come in one style, while the SRT-4 sizes come in the other. I have KDW's on my Camaro, and while I don't get 20k miles with them (too many burnouts ), I love them anyway. Great dry and wet traction at a relatively reasonable price.
