    243 Head porting questions

    good day Guys,

this is my first post, i hope to learn from the vast amount of knowledge here.

i recently was given a set of 243 heads off of a 5.3 to play around with. this is the first time i have ever attempted any porting work.

didn't do any bowl cuts, just basically removed the rocker bolt bump, matched up the exhaust port gaskets, and took down the valve guide casting.

one thing however that i think i will be regretting is taking out the swirl ramp.

can you guys take a look and let me know if i boat anchored these lol. i dont want to install these if they will be worse than my current 853's. i would end up just gasket matching and cleaning those up instead of using these 243's.

Can anyone let me know how to post pictures?

Sorry guys, posted this in the wrong forum, but i cant seem to delete it.
