does anyone know if or what i ahev to change to put a 2006 ls2 out of a gto into my 2008 chevy pickup with a 4.8 ?

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
You will need the harness from the GTO to use in your truck and you will need a tune to allow your existing key to run the truck as the GTO key is different. I might be missing something though.

i knew about the tune . im going to have pro dyno in phoenix do that and i have the harness too so thats a plus. what about the difference in reluctor wheels for the crank . can the tune take care of that if there is a difference?

Don't know about that. You might have to swap reluctor wheels or look for a kit that allows the reluctor wheel from the new engine to be run in your car. Originally Posted by bdub2145

i saw a control box for the different reluctor wheels but i can't remember who makes it or where i saw it now .

yes , thats the name i couldn't put my finger on . im pretty sure mine is 58 , it has the grey crank sensor and if im not mistaken the ls2 has the black .
