ls2 or ls3?
Hey guys I just bought a 6.0 out of a 2005 silverado 2500 he for my camaro. I was wondering if it was an ls2 or ls3? I think its an ls2 right? And if not can I use my ls2 heads and ls6 intake on it? Thanks for any help.

Black- 99 WS.6 - Modified
The 6.0L would be a LS2. The LS3 is 6.2L

Thanks a lot bud so then there will be no problems taking eveything off my ls1 and putting it on that motor right?

Black, Black&Yellow- 04 Lightning, 06 GIX 750
That is not a LS2 it's a LQ9.... The block is iron not aluminum, but yes the LS2 and LS3 heads will both work on this block.

The iron block isn't worth the extra weight unless your gonna be making big power in my opinion, but if you got it at a good price and it runs then go for it.
