    I was looking for a wrx for my girlfriend but i think it would be better to get a gtp.
    my question is what is the best one and best year?

    04+ is the newer body style but all of the years are pretty solid cars.

    Any year after 94 and powered by the TDC (or LQ1). Or Series III L67. Unfortunatly it's their trany's that are'nt the best.. Oops! Time for a Northstar!

    You might be talking about the Comp-G option with the S/C V6 unless you are talking about the GXP with the LS-4 V8.
