Got an engine in need of a rebuild...so its only a matter of time till shes down and out...
at the end of the summer i will have suffecient funds to get a new engine
They quoted me at $4800

i laughed.
so what do you think i should do?
this car is a DD not a drag car
bigger CI is better "there is no replacement for displacement"
i was thinking Texas Speed?

Option A-427 LS7 aluminum?
B-408 LQ9 cast iron?
C-boosted LS1?
D-something else??
ill have around $10K give or take

Boosted Ls1. But you won't get there with 10k. That will only get you everything up to the charger. Put your 10 in it and wait until you can finish it. And don't forget the rest of your driveline. And suspension.
