Who has a STS Turbo on a Automatic car?
I have a 98 Z car and it is a automatic. I'm looking for some feedback from anyone who has or knows of some one with a STS Turbo on there F body.
My concern is Turbo lag. Thanks! http://www.ls1.com/forums/images/smilies/usa.gif

hey i just finished installing my sts kit and i cant feel any lag at all. i installed an edge 3500 stall converter, pro products intake, 42 pound injectors, chemcool methanol injection and a nelson performance tuned pcm. next week is headers,y-pipe and the rear gears. but so far ive smoked an built evo,a twin turbo g35 (aka new skyline) and new vette (not zo6). if you have any questions pm me.

I heard that header are not good for sts kits because they dont help the turbo spool, Just wrap your Y-pipe all the way to your turbo
2002 Z28 Auto (3.23 gears)
Mods
Lid, UD pulley, Shift Kit, 160 Thermo, Y-pipe, Panhard, TB bypass, Bellow, K&N, Strut Brace, Flowmaster, weight reduction.

yea im doing the same project but forging pistons, and rods...so that way i can run 12psi to the engine. The sts dealer out of utah said headers are a waste of time, if you dont have a intercooler get it!!! Car im doing this on is a 2000 ram air, AUTO ALL THE WAY.....it's only the best!!! GL with the rest....and go whoop on some import A$$. HEHE
