    Vortec boost?

How many pounds of boost from a V-9 with a charge cooler should I expect new out of the box with headers and true duels?

    Thanks.

the one it came with I guess...I think the guy may have gave me a couple pulleys. I have to look in the boxes. I'm not to savvy on the kit yet as I am trying to learn about things still. I bought it used. Is there a number somewhere on the pulley I can tell what size it is?

I run the Vortech V9 Gtrim w/aftercooler. The pulley it comes with is the 8-Rib (3.12").

A change in one pulley size will usually effect boost 1-2 PSIG... down in diameter, up in boost and vice versa.
    Another pulley is the (3.70")

Looking at the pulley you should be able to see the diameter.
Call Vortech tech support, they are a great group of guys and will help you out.

Cool, thanks for the info... I will run up to the shop in a few mins and look. Is the 8 rib (3.12) good for around6 or 8 pounds? I know there is a lot of factors, but just say stock motor with the kit out of the box? Vortech V9 Gtrim w/aftercooler

    How many do they offer?

The 3.12 is good for around 8-10 PSIG on a stock motor.

Here it is. Looks like the dark one in the middle is the stock pulley, but what is the pulley on the right side that is lighter in color? There is no writing on it at all.

I was looking at the silver pulley that you said is for the ac, can that be used for a blower pulley to gain more boost if it fits? It is smaller.
