Too many miles?
just curious how many miles are too many when it comes to supercharging?
i have 115,xxx and eventually i will get to doing the forged bottom end. should i bother installing the vortech supercharger or just wait till i can do it all in one shot?

Throw it on. You can make it last if you plan on runing 6-8# of boost. Lots of guys are running superchargers on high mile engines. Just don't be suprised when some thing breaks.

Yea i dont think i can just look at it just sitting there too long, hell if it breaks then i have to do the internals!

Either replace the internals now or if/when they break.

if the rings are good and you don't spark knock you should be fine. i was running 14lbs on a 120k engine till it went lean and melted a piston.
