    STS turbo??

I know I have already asked this question but, now I have the kit just waiting to put on!! I have a GT67 turbo, electronic boost controller, methanol injection, and upgraded fuel system(walboro pump and 42# injectors). What kinda Horsepower to the real wheels do u think I should expect from it. Also it is the stock bottom end. Im only gonna run 8 p.s.i. Thanks Jimmy

You will be around the 450-475 range, if everything else is stock.

I know on the sts site they say 500 rwhp. But I was just wondering if it was true or not.

I will tell you this.....I wouldn't run a stock motor with 8-9psi....good tune or not.........but if you dont mind replacing parts soon then sure.......

cailey37 I guess your saying better to go with forged rods and pistons 1st? I know I will need to rework bottom end soon and wouldn't mind going turbo after so I would like to know what I need now. Thanks.

It all goes back to the age old question of "What do you want from the car?" I mean is it going to be a daily driver, weekend worrier, a little of both???? I would go with forged rods and pistons if you plan on taking it over 500.......

Got 420 at the wheels with motor and would like turbo eventually so I guess even low boost should put me over 500. Best to do it right I guess so I won't have to do it again, thanks.

Who ever told you a stock 10 BOLT can handle that kind of power is full of shit. It is lucky if it can handle the power stock!!!
