Return oil line size. rearmount

OK. After a long struggle I'm going to finish this rearmount Turbo. My only question now is simple. What size line to us from the Turbo to the oil return pump. I have a -8an line currently but was wondering if that's too big. Most setups I see run like a. 5" line. Is my -8 or maybe its a -10 to big to go from Turbo to pump? The pump is mounted higher then turbo.

guess ill just try it and hope is doesnt create a problem that i dont notice.
