Question!

This guy has a Vortech T-Trim... Methanol Injection... no intercooler and stock pulley... says he is running 12 pounds... he also has a boost controller... is this possiable?? he says he is running 443 hp with about the same torq... 8.0-1 Compression... what you guys this... oh ya he has a 5.0 fox body stang...

Not true entirely, a boost controller can also take timing out per # of boost. I believe this is what he is talking about. And yes, he can easily be making that type of power. With the methonal injection it will lower inlet tempetures drastically which will easily allow him to run 12# of boost and make that type of power. Take it from a mustang guy.

Take it from a GM guy; we do that in the PCM when it gets tuned and it is far more accurate.

thats weak for 12psi but then again its believeable cuz its a mustang. My buddies newer '02 GT made about 380rwhp with a similar setup (Vortech supercharger) at 10psi, so yea fords suck

you are comparing 302ci to 350. If it was a 351 than you could compare your ls1 to it. I must say that I do like the trans ams though. I would get one if I sold my supercharged 05 gt.

A lot of ford mustang guys run 10-12psi & Methanol injection , no intercooler, mustangs have even been tested on 87 pump with methanol injection, not saying i would do it!
