    Procharger Setup

What is the polished box and what is inside of it? Where is the supercharger itself? Are there any other setups other than this for LS1 Trans Am?

Vortec is another kit available. The polished box is aluminum and it is by far better then the plastic one that comes with the base kit. I crushed mine, (the plastic one) with one of the little clamps that came with the kit. There is nothing inside it. The Procharger mounts on the lower part of the motor on the drivers side. It is very difficult to see.

Here is a pic of the polished box. It is just sheets of aluminum welded together.

The supercharger is located in front of the alternator.

Intercooler on the left and the right. They are just above the left and right air dam flaps.

It's loud! I am taking it off hopefully in a couple of weeks cause its frigin too loud now for my old ass! I also wanna see what 2.5" TD's over the axle w/ an X-pipe will give me for a gain. I almost have all of the mandrel bent pieces and X-pipe made from 304 polished stainless. I just have to fab them all together. Its gonna be sweet and I am going to use (2) 14" casing mufflers in the back. From what I have seen, it will be a first for this kind of setup.

    to me!

I am going to have dual electric cutouts, but not until we have our own set available. We just recently designed a new cutout and they will be available in a month or two, hopefully.
